Review of Wreck-It Ralph (2012) by Anthony I — 16 Oct 2015
In terms of Animated movies, it's a delight the entire time through. It's like a combination of Toy Story and Shrek, set in the video game world. Some might say that that sounds unoriginal, and perhaps it is, but it's from Disney, and you can see their inequivalent passion for storytelling in just about every moment in this film.
The voice acting is by far the best aspect, including a really adorable performance by John C. Reily, and an unexpectedly dynamic one from Sarah Silverman, who plays a little girl (and not a potty-mouthed one, to everyone's surprise).
The world is so imaginative and funny, with so much going on in-between frames. This is a Grade-A family movie.
