Review of Wreck-It Ralph (2012) by David E — 03 Nov 2013

I never wanted to watch "Wreck-it Ralph" when it came out, but after seeing it recently, I was amazed & delighted by how the plot revolves on game characters when they're not playing & how the main character just wants to be accepted despite being given the role of the Bad Guy, so he decides to become Good.

Aside from the plot, the references to other classic games & game characters was charming for those who have played them before (myself included). "Wreck-it Ralph" has earned its spot as one of the best animated films of the 21st Century! Nominated for both the Golden Globe & Oscar for Best Animated Feature (lost both to "Brave").
