Review of Wrath of the Titans (2012) by Mitchell E — 10 Oct 2012
So what has happened between the end of Clash and the begining of Wrath? Perseus has moved to the Australian expat area of Ancient Greece, resulting in him picking up a stronger Aussie accent than previously. Hades has also changed his accent, sounding less like a Rent-A-Ghost character and more like Voldermort. Zeus may have a slightly bigger beard... oh and Io is dead (Gemma Arteton couldn't be bothered to return.
So what happens in Wrath of The Titans? I'm not entirely sure as we lurch from one blatent 3D scene to the next. Bill Nighy gets a rather short role as Mephestes and a comedy accent to boot but its not enough to save him or the film from tedium before it reaches the inevitable CGI extravaganza finale and stuff blows up. extras die and Perseus and Pegasus (still not white) fly about. No spoilers apart from the end of the is film should ensure that we are spared a third instalment.
Thank the Gods,.
