Review of WR: Mysteries of the Organism (1971) by Trevor M — 26 Jun 2007
An interesting film that looks at psychologist and philosopher Wilhelm Reich's theories on orgasms and sexual energy. Some of the film studies his idelogy and talks about his life and controversial arrest and imprisonment in the US while the other half is pure late 60s Goddard.
Lots of radical leftist politics based shorts intercut with graphic sex using Reich's ideas as a back bone to social revolution and commentary. A bit trippy for anyone who isn't into art house cinema, but worth searching for.
