Review of Woyzeck (1979) by Jarrod W — 15 Jul 2007
Kinski gives an inhumanly brilliant performance in this movie about the breaking of a man. Like I said, KinskiKinskiKinski. He's really great throughout, especially in the film's climax, and Herzog does a good job with the natural direction, building up the intensity and frustration to the film's final 25 minutes.
The scene pictured on the cover was an emotional high for me that has been rarely equalled in any movie I have ever seen.
