Review of Woven (2016) by Byron B — 12 Jul 2016
Saw this movie at LA Film Festival in Culver City. I saw the trailer before . woven is absolutely amazing movie. It has everything that I was expecting and much much more. This movie is so much relevant today then any other time.
Peoples from two completely different cultures, their lives , how we are so similar even though we are from different parts of the world. Our fears, our desire and family issues are same . It showed people who are immigrants in this country, how their kids struggle with pressure from family at one side and fitting in new environment.
It makes anyone watching the movie empathize with people who are from different culture. In the end its all about bringing peace, forgiveness even when forgiveness seems like a difficult choice.
