Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Chris A — 29 Aug 2010
Wickedly dark comedy that hasn't be seen since American beauty. This film is in a category of it's own and will be difficult to watch for many. Warning aside, watching robin Williams in a movie like this makes you hate him for picking the crap on mainstream holiday.
The guy has crazy chops and shows how dark he can portray someone such as the character he is given. What he goes through and the decisions he makes from their are beyond amazing. As going through high school you know how easy it is to fall into the traps woven by william's character.
Overall, the ending is predicable but your glad it did. I highly recommend this film and if it could make it to mainstream Hollywood, william's would deserve a nod for his character in my opinion.
Easily one of the best films I've seen this year.
