Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by John T — 10 Oct 2010
Robin Williams is one of those actors along with the likes of Robert De Niro , Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy who has forgotten how to pick a good movie.
Because of this I wasn't holding out to much hope with World Greatest Dad but Williams has struck gold with this wonderful black comedy.
Suicide is not the first subject you think of when it comes to comedy but it's handled with humour , irony and sadness in this film and at times you don't know wether to laugh or cry.
Williams is at his very best and this had shades of The Fisher King , another sublime film that I loved.
Highly recommended .
