Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Buddy K — 18 Aug 2011
Robin Williams' best role in a good log while carries this intriguing black comedy. Not flawless and I wanted to like this a little more than I actually did (I felt the slow first act, while a necessary evil to get the film where it needed to go, could have been streamlined a tad and there's something to be desired from the supporting cast) but still enjoyable as a black comedy that's often funny and sometimes heartwarming and worth watching for Williams' terrific lead performance.
