Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Jon T — 20 Apr 2012
I always admire a filmmaker who isn't afraid to take a chance, and Bobcat Goldthwait (of all people) does it here in this dark, yet bizarrely touching film about a single parent trying to cope with the death of his son while simultaneously attempting to make his masterful prose sing.
World's Grestest Dad is not a movie for all people, but I laughed my ass of at it's dark humor, and even cried at it's underlying sentimentality.
