Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Shawn E — 20 May 2012
Robin Williams stars in a role that brings some credibility back to his flailing career. Daryl Sabara is unrecognizable with a fantastic performance as his disgusting son. The movie is certainly very dark.
It misses the mark at times, but it's interesting and, at times, funny. Though not a complete success due to the one note nature of its characters and story, it is still enjoyable. It's hard to believe that both this and Old Dogs have been released in the same year.
