Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Erika G — 25 Sep 2012
This Movie is sad, A father deals with a son who is troubled and failing school who only cares about having sex with girls and porno, who says he hates everything, tries to bond with him , but its difficult and when he thinks hes making progress he comes home to find that his son accidently kills himself by straggling him self during masturbation and the father realizes that his son possibly had some type of depression.
So to not humiliate himself or his son he makes up a lie that his son commited suicide by hanging himself in the closet and makes it look like h is son was a really tortured soul, but smart and a great writer Which make him look like the World's Greates's Dad. He writes a journal making its look like his son wrote it and gets it published. The other kids in school, who supposivley hated his son, feel bad how they treated him and feel insipred by the journal to better themselves, but when things start to get crazy the father starts to feel guilty, is he really The World's Greatest Dad? The moral of this movie is that you shouldn't lie about things even though the truth can be embarrassing and make you look like a bad parent when your really not.
