Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Robert L — 26 Oct 2013
Warning, apart from this movie proving a point, you might find it vulgar, thats why is rated R, and of course following that though you get Robin Williams like usual.
Anyhow, the movie is all about this father who got a kid that you mostly find as a teenager and kind off separated, but also with few friends, his dad having a mix of friend and dad. But with a freak accident his son dies, badly enough he tries to cover how he died so things should be interpreted in another way but that point it goes downhill, his dad gets fame that he never got but getting it indirectly from the coverup, manipulation from both sides the school and him, but to the point he was feeling worse and worse until the end...
And I quote...
Lance Clayton: I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It's not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.
Be yourself.
