Review of World's Greatest Dad (2009) by Sammy M — 18 Aug 2014
Oddly sad in light of Robin William's death; however, this film probably showcased Williams in his best role in nearly a decade.
This movie was very interesting. It was darkly comic - American Beauty esque- but lacked just a little something to make it fantastic. What we are left with is a scathing criticism of the posthumous death syndrome (aka becoming a celebrity post death). There is something really great in this movie, and something also just tremendously sad. Regardless of it all, I'd definitely advise a viewing because I haven't seen something this bold in a while.
