Review of World Without End (1956) by Allan C — 27 Sep 2013
Fun bit of sci-fi about astronauts returning form Mars, only to find out they have traveled through time into the distant future, only to find the world of primitive neanderthal-like creatures roaming the surface and the civilized humans living below ground.
It's pretty much a rip-off of HG Welles' "The Time Machine" except it put the Morlocks on the surface instead of underground. You've even got Rod Taylor as one of the time travelers! Still, it's pretty entertaining in a pulpy sort of way.
