Review of World War Z (2013) by Ryan B — 18 Jun 2014
World War Z. Wow this film kept me on the edge for most of the movie. I don't wanna talk it up too much but I think this was probably the best zombie flick I've seen in a long time and that's saying quite a bit since there wasn't really any blood in it, there was blood just not like extremely gory or anything.
Whoever had the idea of making the zombies act like they did did a fantastic job at it, the zombies did such a great job at.....well being a zombie. Brad Pitt also did a great job, this was probably one of the better films from him that I've seen (I'm not really a fan of him).
The plot actually intrigued me a lot. He (Pitt) travels to a few different parts of the world looking for a cure to end the apocalypse. I think I loved every part of this film and I'll definitely get it on DVD eventually.
This was a perfect zombie movie even though it lacked a lot of blood, but the blood count doesn't matter when watching this one. Highly recommended.
