Review of Working Girl (1988) by Joe B — 22 Apr 2008
If my time machine wasn't broken, I would ask Melanie Griffith to come back with me to 1988 so she can see herself in this film. She'd find a performance worth remembering, a face worth not Botox-ing, and Sigourney Weaver chewing so much scenery she's gained 20 pounds by the final reel.
Twenty years after its release this movie ends up being solidly inspiring to anyone that deserves a shot at the top.
