Review of Working Girl (1988) by Jerry K — 19 Jan 2012
Watching this twenty-three year old film for yet another time, this time after at least a decade, one realizes just how iconic and wonderful this film is. "Working Girl" can proudly take its place alongside the likes of "Norma Rae" and the early Tracy / Hepburn comedies in terms of demonstrating how change has happened in our society over the decades.
The performances of Melanie Griffith, Sigourney Weaver, Harrison Ford and Joan Cusack - under Mike Nichols' skillful direction. And what about the performance of Alec Baldwin and Kevin Spacey! What a fun way to welcome in the new year!
