Review of Woodstock (1970) by Suzy K — 09 Oct 2007
Some of the best editing I've ever seen accompanied by great music. The movie immerses you in the event and really catches many aspects of it beyond just the music. The very liberal use of split-screen, something that is hackneyed nowadays, is actually very effective here.
Though the director's cut runs at nearly four hours, it is definitely a great watch.
