Review of Woodstock (1970) by Pamela D — 20 Oct 2007
Wonderful documentary! Captured the essence and start of a generation, a different generation apart from the conservativeness and standard style of the 50s/60s. I was writing a short story about Woodstock and this film helped me a lot.
I loved the performances from The Who, Richie Havens, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and many others. Most importantly, what Ive grasped was the style, attitude and behaviors of the people that attended.
Awesome piece!
