Review of Woodstock (1970) by Zac A — 24 Feb 2008
One of the best, if not , the best concert film ever put on film. The Cinematograpy is outstanding, and the use of Split-Screen makes some of the performances come even more to life. The Director's Cut is almost 40 minutes longer than the Theatrical cut, and at a running time of almost 4 hours, you would think it's lenght would hurt.
Not at all. There are too many good performances not too have a lenghty film. A Masterpiece in sight and sound.
