Review of Woodstock (1970) by Ben S — 22 Mar 2009
It is a Time machine in disc form to the most legendary concert in history. Not only that, but it was a significant part of history. Thank god the porducers saw this moment coming and decided to film it in a captivating film that brings you right to the stage where the most renounced musicians of that day played for peace love and drugs.
It is every hippy's dream o have been able to attend that concert, now they can with the exception of ingesting the "bad acid". it was a power trip for me to watch these three days. I look forward to watching the directors cut where all the musicians are featured in the bonus features including the the ever so LSD fueled grateful dead, jefferson airplane, carlos santana, and country and the fish.
Fantastic movie and I hope a event like this happens again however very unlikely.
