Review of Woodstock (1970) by Matthew A — 12 Jul 2009
Watching the 40th anniversary director's cut edition and it might just be the greatest documentary ever. Some great music by The Who (Summertime Blues), Joe Cocker (With a Little Help From My Friends), Crosby, Stills, and Nash (Long Time Gone), Santana (Soul Sacrifice), and the great Jimi Hendrix (Voodoo Child (slight return), Star Spangled Banner, and Purple Haze).
Great movie if you like music from that era.
