Review of Woodstock (1970) by Bram V — 09 Aug 2011
Successfully evokes the feel of those days, from set-up to take-down, with all the activities in between. Not only does it highlight how unique and fleeting those moments were, but the music is intelligently edited with images of the people present that fit a celebration and critique of the event: from the individual to the universal, from the joyous and transcendent to the occasionally tone-deaf or self-indulgent.
