Review of Woodlawn (2015) by John M — 31 Oct 2015
Not remembering much about segregation as my kindergarten class was one of the first in my town to be segregated this movie did a pretty good job depicting the hatred that existed at that time in Alabama.
An inspiring movie about a group of young football players that choose to change their community for the better rather than becoming trapped in a endless cycle of prejudice and racism. A powerful message of hope for our young people today.
An extra treat was Jon Voight as Bear Bryant. He was awesome!
