Review of Won't You Be My Neighbor? (2018) by Michael M — 08 Dec 2018
Overall a very simple movie, but Mr. Roger's Neighborhood was a very simple film. It's a breath or fresh air from a cynical year, and gives some nice behind the scenes anecdotes while also going into why the world needed Mr.
Rogers and the question of if there could be someone like him again. If you're looking for the massive behind the scenes expose on Fred Rogers, this isn't it. They do touch on the rare number of supposed "controversies" that can be found on him, but even these are shown in fairness and truth as they should be and do not change the opinion of the man.
It's inspirational, and makes you want to rise to be a better person in the absence of a person like Fred Rogers.
