I'm not as liberal about educational issues as any of our colleagues, but this is less a movie than it is conservative agenda. As a person who has worked at three struggling inner city school,there is nothing real, honest or authentic about it.

Propaganda like this only harms. As a movie Maggie Gylenhaal, Holly Hunter and especially Viola Davis deserve much better Davis is the only thing that actually makes this close to watchable.
