Review of Wonderland (2003) by David K — 24 Oct 2004
Okay really quick poop...no picture.
Wonderland is.....
Okay... because I got involved in the "true crime story" aspect. This aspect is good..
Depressing...when you think about the people and situations it was revealing.
Variable...in terms of performances, and writing..
Effective...in showing us the crime from multiple perspectives..
Unexceptional...when you sit back and consider what you've just watched when the credits roll..
Perplexing...because you ask yourself "Why do I need to view material like this, when this material has been hammered at us for decades on TV and Film.".
Gross...because the DVD special features included the actual police video of their tour of the crime scene. Bludgeoned corpses and all. Simply a gratuitous inclusion..
.
Have a poop if in the mood for True Crime.
