"But it looks nice," is never enough, especially these days, when so more high standard anime movies are being released in the UK than ever before. The visuals are so stunning you desperately want to love it. But ultimately Sky Blue is let down by its unbelievable world, poor character development and heavy handed direction/editing.
The backgrounds may be 3D, but the characters remain 2 dimensional.
