Review of Wonder Woman (2017) by Joe C — 06 Jun 2017

Finally got to watch this movie last night and I'm sure the burning question is, is it as good as everyone says it is? The answer is yes!!! Is it the best superhero movie ever? Well that's debatable because it would be hard to top THE DARK KNIGHT, but it's pretty damn close!

The story was good, the actors were good (especially Gal Gadot who just stole the whole show) and the action was amazing but surprisingly there was much action in this film, it was kinda spread out through out the movie so it never got boring but I had expected more especially since you see most of the action already from the trailers, but the story carries it along well so it wasn't missed...

There isn't anything to bad I can say about this film, expect for maybe the villain(s) I felt that was one of the main weaker points of the movie and I wasn't a huge fan of Chris pine as the stuttering love interest spy who kept saying NO NO NO everytime Wonder Woman wanted to do anything, it was slightly annoying but it wasn't enough to take the movie down at all, I love the scenery as well from the beautiful islands to the grittiness of the London/war scenes it's just a good entertaining film to look at!

It runs for almost two and a half hours so it's a long one but I felt the time flew by pretty fast, I would say that this is the film that DC needed to finally rival the marvel films for Wonder Woman is just as good if not better than Thor and captain America (bold statement I know) and even though I'm in the minority of people who actually liked suicide squad and thought BvS was okay Wonder Woman was a complete home run all the way!!! If you haven't gone to see it, do you self a favor and go now!
