I loved the first Wonder Woman, though it was often over-the-top and ridiculous. This movie takes those vices and raises them to 11. The plots of these types of movies never make too much sense, but this one is far worse than normal: it is completely incoherent.
Even my young children couldn’t stop from voicing plot holes while watching. When they asked me why something was happening rather than some other course of action, I simply didn’t have an answer.
I love Gal Gadot and I enjoyed the first movie, but this one lost its way.
