The "1984" setting is nothing but a throwaway after-though. Three stories running on three people dealing with their ambitions and increasing powers. Wonderwoman is get equal billing with the other two.
And when she's on the screen you just wish she got less dialogue and more action because she's just a terrible actress (Natalie Porter in Star Wars BAD). So, a Wonder Woman film not entirely about Wonder Woman and you're actually relieved it isn't.
Not exactly what I expected.
