The actors did a very good job with what they were given. Unfortunately the story is very weak, the CGI is bad enough to pull you out of what little story there is, the editing was poor, and overall I just felt disappointed that this was the sequel to a film I enjoyed so much and represented so much promise.
In general it’s a fine movie to have on in the background as you do something else. You don’t have to worry about missing important plot points if you step away for a half hour.
