Review of Woman of the Year (1942) by Angeline C — 22 Sep 2007
The story really is tailor-made for Katharine Hepburn. She and Spencer Tracy are totally convincible in their roles as Tess Harding and Sam Craig. Did I mention how their unique screen chemistry just crackles? They are soo different from other couples of that age--Myrna Loy/William Powell, Lauren Bacall/Humphrey Bogart.
..etc. There will never be a screen team as great as they are.
