Review of Woman of the Year (1942) by Grace K — 01 Nov 2008
I've only watched one other Hepburn/Spencer film, which was also very comedic and fun to watch. This one, though, has a more serious undertone towards the middle of the movie; the struggles and realizations of a real marriage.
Though Spencer isn't exactly the typical Hollywood hunk, he's definitely got a charm and comedic timing about him that makes him likable, and watchable. I was just afraid that I was going to wake my housemate up in the next room because I was laughing in the middle of the night.
