Review of Woman of the Year (1942) by Charlie Lloyd H — 01 Nov 2003
Working on the upcoming Percy years, watched the following:
Woman of the Year - George Stevens.
A pair of decent performances by Hepburn and Tracy can't really liven up the misogynistic script. It's such a shame because both actors easily lend dignity to an undignified film. It's all the worse because I expected something more interesting than Hepburns character being kicked into the kitchen.
6/10.
