Review of Woman of the Year (1942) by Steve W — 25 Apr 2010
The first pairing of the epic duo of Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. I liked how it focused more on the romance and character development rather than gags, but there are some excellent scenes. One that really sticks out is the breakfast scene at the end.
The on screen chemistry between the two leads is just so present and the dialogue is very fluid. The pace is amazing and I liked how it was a compromise ending and not a complete change for any character.
A very good romantic drama with a little comedy.
