Review of Woman Is the Future of Man (2004) by Drew R — 26 Sep 2007
As honest and voyeuristic as this film attempts to be, including the ubiquitous awkward sex scenes, the film generally fails to be interesting. Despite the title (I think?) a general misogyny persists throughout the film, and although we are presumably asked to question it, or at least to see it as inevitably human, we are also left with blowjobs as the only emotional connections these characters have.
Otherwise, there is a lot of sitting and staring and drinking.
