A movie way underrated by the critics. I don't think most of these critics have ever cracked a history book. Though not a complete success the movie manages to talk about a complex situation in human terms with excellent performances all around.
Talk to some Austrians (other than the former governor of california) and you will find out just how morally obtuse this country has always been when it came to WWII and the holocaust. Remember this was the country that wanted to give Kurt Waldheim a free pass for serving in the SS.
I'm surprised they allowed it to film in Austria.
