Review of Woman in Gold (2015) by Irene S — 27 Aug 2015
Lately it has been a rare opportunity for me to see a film I fall madly in love with. a film that is so extraordinary, so vibrant, and also so sad and disturbing. based on a true story of Maria Altman and her presute of suing the Austrian government for illegally displaying her aunt painting "Adele", also known as "the woman in gold".
this film is very well written, directed and produced. the actors do an excellent job in portrait the actual persons. it will make you cry, laugh, and at the end makes you undrrstand a bit more of history and the right thing to do.
this is truly a must see.
