Review of Woman in Gold (2015) by Martin M — 07 Apr 2015
Strong ensemble cast; vivid, purposeful flashbacks; paced, deliberate plot line and an efficient screenplay. WIG convincingly weaves a story about history, family, art, law and geopolitics - it avoids all the traps of schlockumentary and delivers a winning tribute to a family, a generation and a culture that deserves to be respectfully remembered for all the trite and all the right reasons.
