It's not too exciting, and the missing werewolf effects (replaced with a real scary wolf) kinda stands apart from the other effect-driven werewolf movies of the 80's. But there are creepy moments, thrilling scenes, and some gory bits.
Overall, it's forgettable but not a waste of time.
