Review of Wolf Creek (2005) by Orville G — 19 Jul 2009
Wolf Creek succeeds in being a terrifying and visceral experience because of its extreme realsim. The three actors represent a group of people that any viewer can relate to. They are just normal human beings who want to enjoy themsleves on a road trip, but end up in the most harrowing and disturbing scenario possible. Definitley not one for the faint-hearted, Wolf Creek is a film of violence, sadism and upset, that explores what can happen to anyone who is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Still, the film is a must-see for any extreme-horror fan.
One of the best horror films in recent years.
