Review of Wolf Creek (2005) by Michael M — 13 Oct 2008
Well this one was actually pretty good, mainly because it was really creepy and not campy. The fact that something that like really could happen is this movie's biggest scare factor. It was a little slow to get going, but once it did it maintained a level of creepiness, and just real primal terror.
As if the thought of being abducted and tortured wasn't enough, like Hostel, our characters are in a foreign country and know nothing about their surroundings. Very scary and realistic, to a point.
