It's a mean sprited movie, very shocking and violent film. Loosley based on the backpack murders in Australia. Wolf Creek does not shy from giving you moments of despair and disgust.
However it's an effective film with scares and prolonged tension. Good performances from unknowed actors. I do wish that it had more of a coherent ending and less gore. I like gore but it doesn't replace tension and suspense unless it's done well. Still rentable for Halloween.
