I have almost never been scared by a torture flick, but this movie succeeded in doing just that. It actually had me terrified for the victims. While none of the victims are particularly interesting, the crazy Australian killer is.
He is psychotic and it's disturbing to watch him commit his crimes. While the films plot isn't too strong, and the ending is a lazy cop-out, the torture scenes are effectively scary. If you like torture films, you should definitely watch this one.
