Review of Wolf Creek (2005) by Brock R — 08 May 2011
This film takes an age to build up into any action, and instead gives us 45 minutes of introduction, whereby nothing of note really happens. It begins as more like a documentary of a day in the life of three tourists, but concludes with quite chilling consequences, which are a reward for those of us that didn't switch off earlier.
It's not a film that will make you jump, but simply makes you think that as bloody and as brutal this film is, unlike your other bog standard horror's which emphasise the gore content, this one is actually based on true events!!!
