A major disappointment. There was so much that could have been done with this sequel picking up from the first movie. I could think of several story-lines that would not only have been a lot more suspenseful and frightening, but also more credible and believable.
I can only assume a conscious decision was made to steer this in the direction of ridiculous, rather than credible, because given the subtleties and suspense of the first movie it's difficult to comprehend someone making such a poor sequel by mistake.
