Review of Wizards (1977) by Jan S — 02 Feb 2009
A bit rough and uneven, but the good parts are fun. It has a story for once, not Citizen Kane, but still a story. As usually Bakshi fill the movie with pointless walking, driving, going, riding, etc. It has a cheesy '70s soundtrack and apparently it was made with a constraint budget.
However, it gives the movie a charm that a slicker production wouldn't have. And I like the artwork in the movie.
