Review of Wizards (1977) by Georgios L — 04 Mar 2012
Impressive animated film which feels a lot like a drug-induced hallucination at times. The effects and the animation show their age but this is still watchable and with its imaginative and ludicrous plot, it keeps you interested till the very end.
Don't tell me Peter Jackson wasn't inspired by this when he was making his trilogy. Just sample the prologue if you don't believe me.
